The most knowledgable techs!!! Great experience!!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I came to National Laser Institute after getting referred to by a few friends who raved about their experience!! They had a monthly skin scene event that I had attended in November and loved the experience.

During the event, I was able to meet the CEO and discuss the new treatment PDO threads On the day of my treatment, I was super anxious because I had read a lot of horror stories about experiences that other people had at other clinics nearby. Thankfully I was relieved to have my tech; Angelica. She was very knowledgeable and comforted me through my treatment!

Because of how Angelica and the front desk staff treated me I will be back! My results are amazing and I'm so excited to share them with the world!!!

I graduated with almost 40 people. Tuition was about $7,295.

After speaking with almost every student, that we're offered or aware and given the option of a scholarship. Almost everyone in my program receive $1000 off of there tuition cost yet I wasn't even given that option. The reason the financial advisor gave away scholarship was for "hardships" "travel expenses", both of which would make me elidgible. I traveled 6 hours from where I reside to attend the course.

I was the only African American women attending the course with the exception of two others who,(after speaking to) also paid 7,295 instead of $6,295 like everyone else and had no idea that a grant/scholarship even existed.

It's discrimation. All of the students are not treated fairly and the financial advisor Pooja is prejudice, unprofessional, and dishonest.

This institute is straight up a scam

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

This company offers services that compare with going to the doctors office and come up extremely short. Buy a package with multiple treatments and get those treatments with the lasers set so low that no results are ever achieved.

Don't waste your time and money. I have let them know that the machines are set to low based on past treatments. There response is that they will fix the problem next time but nothing changes. They will just take your time and money leaving you very aggravated in the process.

This is a scam. A very unprofessional environment I choose to never do business with the National Laser Institute and will be very careful when I see the warning signs at any other establishments.

I called the phone # that was listed ON THE WEBSITE regarding financial aid. The lady who answered the phone informed me that they don't offer any financial aid because nobody would approve of their institute.

I then told her this is the number I got offline regarding FA, she was extremely rude. Definitely would not even consider it after that experience.

Was verbally attacked & hung up on mid question.

National Laser Institute - Was verbally attacked & hung up on mid question.

So if I received a lisence from NLI is it legitamate--? -Because that's how they make themselves sound when the female who answered the line won't even answer MY questions and directs it back to "where I live", which is also annoying because gee, did you ever think that I'm not going to be practicing where I currently live?

And I know they're trying to cover themselves.. So upon receiving a lisence from NLI would I be readily able to work ANYWHERE given the guidelines of each State? I asked her that and informed her I'm not coming from the medical feild and am not seeking the injectibles course and that I want to become a licensed spa laser technician. For my own readons doll, how do you like that for an anwer?

Because I want to be licensed & order my own equipment and work in that feild if and when I choose. Did that ever occur to your *** ***? ..But how can I truly want to go here now after this lesser being treated me so rudely as if I am dumber than she & she works a pathetic phone job. ***, as if.

Do your job and guide the person along who wants to attend. Actually my last jobs were being photographed with a celebrity, gee, wonder how I got there in life so how dare your small brained little self speak down to anybody when your job is to provide customer service?

You are *** pathetic in my book. Congratulations..

I've been photographed with multitudes of celebrities I fail to see how that makes me "better" than someone doing their job on the phone at NLI??? Someone who feels they're "somebody" by who they stand next to in a picture does not have me inclined to trust their review!

You’re a complete moron. You can’t spell for *** and that “pathetic phone job” pays her bills and guess what?

She gets to help suckers like YOU hand her all your money!! Haha... If you’re going to slander someone, at least spell correctly, and PRETEND you’re competent enough you low life, good for nothing *** Celebs? Ok *** pfff yeah right.

If you were a celeb you wouldn’t be on this website. Get a life and go back to kindergarten spelling class.

Btw, your picture is hideous.... you look like one of those modern day tranvestites.

It does matter where you live because training requirements and regulations vary a lot from state to state. For instance in NJ only a doctor can use lasers and NY it’s unregulated. So in order to answer your question she does in fact need to know where you live/where you intend to work.

Guest

figures that the business attacked the original poster, and the only thing they had was her spelling. Did you ever stop to think that maybe her first language isn't English? And besides, just because someone don't meet your standards, don't you the right to rip them off!

It's Fine

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I looked at some of the reviews just now. Some are scathing.

I would like to weigh in: I am a physician in retirement. I was looking for a new hobby. I decided to learn about Botox and fillers. I went to one previous course at a different institute.

It was bad. At National Laser I learned what I needed to at a reasonable price. The instructors were quite skilled, and had a lot of experience. This is a very good basic training, and I would recommend it.

As with all things procedural, continued training and experience are necessary. And as with all schools, there is a profit motive, but so what.

What the charged was worth it to me.

If you are looking for a good basic course, this place is fine.

I LOVE NLI. i left one of Planos most gifted plastic surgeons to use NLI

My name is Marsha and I am a patient at NLI. I see people on hear saying that the employees use patient fillers which is simply not true.

I am a repeat customer and I have had great service at that place. Not to mention they took 10 years off my face with 1 filler. They also did a free fill in where I had swelling and it did not take. They want yot to get what you paid for. They also gave me a huge discount.

Everything you people are ssaying is the exact opposite of what I have seen. I have never once heard anyone in that place complain. Of course the employees get fillers. Its a selling point for the business.

However its silly to believe they are taking patients paid for meds. I have had botox and fillers and great results. The people are nice and courteous as well. NLI is one of the most respected companies in its field.

I wouldnt go anywhere else. These people are highly professional. They teach Drs, burses and healthcare professionals for all of the US.

Why? because they are known as the best.

Thank you for the kind words, because I for one work my brain to continuing educating my skills. We have great relationships with all the injectable companies.

One of the injectors represents Allergan by traveling for them and educating their consumers.

WE strive to make sure everyone is happy with what they purchase.

Thank you for the nice words we are very proud of our national first class reputation and are actually the only ones in the country whose instructors who teach surgeons/docs, nurses/aesthetics how to do procedures will actually treat our clients privately!

Awsome school lovedthe training and love my career!!

Such a great experience . I graduate last month and I cant imagine anybody could say anything but great things about this school and the superb training they have to offer!

I researched diligently before I came to this school and found it to be the very best! I had training with NLI they really care about their students and education and I got t work on the best lasers and my teachers were very knowledgeable and made me feel so welcome! I was offered help to update my resume and received emails of jobs near me and I landed a job right out of school with no prior training in aesthetics and love my job working for a top plastic surgeon!

I highly recommend this school to anybody that wants a career change! Courtney Parker

Poor follow up to complaint and no remedy

I had several injectables performed on 2/14/16. I had Botox, Juvederm and Restylane.

I Spent $1600-more than expected. The results of the Juvederm and Restylane were awful. I had huge bumps just underneath my lips where the Juvederm was injected. The Restylane is supposed to last up to 18 months or more.

Nope. You can already see the decline. I do not believe the actual dosage you pay for is used. I called several times to get an appointment for correction.

Back and forth with scheduling and nothing. The service was rendered in February. I began with my concerns in March, allowing at least 30 days for results. No follow up to correct the poorly administered injections, no refund, nothing.

Do not trust they will do anything to correct any concerns or issues you may have-it is just a matter of collecting $$$ regardless of the services and outcome.

This company is a SCAM- I was told I would get monthly jobs for hire in the area. YLTHEY LIED.I GET NONE- I feel they take a vantage of people who are trying to make their life better by moving forward with a good job.

The owner don't keep their word- first they tried to blame it on me, and then when I have proof that my emails were all valid and working, they try to pass the buck on the other people. I would love to get it a multiple people lawsuit started!

Burned and Wrinkled Face

I went in to have some fine lines around my eyes treated. The technician said I needed to have a micro-peel done.

I asked if it would irritate my skin too much since I'd had fat grafting almost nine months prior. She assured me it wouldn't, and even said that I would have little to no swelling. My face swelled up about 30 percent for four days and became so inflamed it was oozing. I tried calling the institute's nurse and doctor and made over 7 to 8 calls, many which were not returned.

Finally I talked with the doctor who said what was happening was normal. I scheduled an appointment with a local dermatologist who said my treatment was a mid level skin peel, not a light peel.

I now have worse wrinkles under my eyes and much of my fat grafting dissolved in the process of swelling and inflamation. Thinking of filing a case against them.

National Laser Institute refunded my money for the procedure, along with $650 for damages incurred. This was gracious, though it did not cover my losses. They also contacted me and apologized for the situation, which was very kind.

National Laser contacted me and we resolved the issue. I was genuinely surprised at the owner's care and concern, along with his willingness to listen and refund my expenses.

Though my face does not look the same as before the treatment (my previous fat transfer is basically gone), I am thankful I have no scars or burns and the wrinkles under my eyes have returned to normal. The owner assured me steps were being taken to ensure greater safety, including the implementation of a more conservative approach hi laser treatments in the future.

Not A School A Scam

National Laser Institute Is NOT A School with any type of accreditation, This is place is a COMPLETE SCAM, They are selling a Line OF *** to justify them Steeling your money.

My 18 daughter was lured into the scam, She is enrolled in a local cosmetology and aesthetic class and wanted to get laser accreditation as well, She contacted the N.L.I and was Directed to a Marty an Admissions Adviser. Marty informed her about what they offer and availability of classes, what she will learn, where and how she can earn easy money just doing this part time alongside of her aesthetic practice.

Also informed her that in our state she can practice anywhere without a license, unlike cosmetology & aesthetic that here in our state requires a license. My Daughter was so excited that she paid her class deposit and contacted me and told me all about it and gave me, Marty the Admissions Adviser's Info and the schools phone number to of course steel my money.

I contacted Marty the Admissions Adviser for National Laser Institute It took me 12 calls to finally talk with him due to each time I called the call would not ring but go directly to Voice Mail, When Marty the Admissions Adviser for National Laser Institute and I finally connected he greeted me with “Thank You for Calling Mr ****** I know you are calling regarding your daughter ******* and I will take that credit card number to clear up the balance so I can confirm your daughter for the class starting in April.”

I said Marty that is a way of answering the phone that I have never ever heard in my life. I went on to explain I was not calling to surrender any credit card or money at this time, because I have many questions that I would like info from you on before any balance is paid. I went on to ask him about what they offered what the total course cost is, how and where will my daughter will be able to practice this skill.

I was out right Lied to by Marty the Admissions Adviser for National Laser Institute, I was told in the state we are in there are no laws or special licensing required and that she will be able to practice this new skill anyplace. I.E a local salon or a mobile laser hair and tattoo removal, he said the list was endless as well as the demand and income would be as well.

Then again asked me for my credit card number to pay the balance so he can confirm the April date my daughter had requested. I slowed Marty the Admissions Adviser for National Laser Institute down again and requested some references from recent students that had attended classes at National Laser Institute.

I was told that he cannot give our references and any question I have I can reference the website, I informed Marty the Admissions Adviser for National Laser Institute that I have read the website and what I was needing from him was recent references from real people that attended classed at National Laser Institute, not a web page produced, owned and marketed by them.

Marty the Admissions Adviser for National Laser Institute informed me that that is against company policy and any references I would ever need will be on the website.

( REDFLAG) !

I did my own research on our state laws regarding the use of a laser on the human body, as well as National Laser Institute over the following week, I was amazed at the outright LIE that Marty at National Laser Institute had told me as well as my daughter about the use of lasers in our state.

I discussed this with my daughter and she now had the facts of how/where she would be able to practice and utilize this skill if she decided to. She convinced me that she still would like to take the class so I agreed and made a follow up call to Marty at National Laser Institute.

Again after many calls from me and again the phone going directly to voice mail with no ring, Marty returned my call, again he stared the conversation with “ I will take that Credit Card number now” I requested from Marty that he fax or email me the enrollment documents with what course was selected as well as the total course cost and payments applied and balance due. My answer was “ I will email you your credit card receipt after your payment” I said No Marty I will not give you my credit card until I get a listing of what I am paying for and what credits have been applied. Marty the Admissions Adviser for National Laser Hung up on Me”

The following day I discussed this with my daughter and she was very disappointed but still wanted to get laser training, She spoke with Crissy Noble Director of Admissions National Laser Institute.

Crissy called me and of course gave me every reason you can think of to get me to surrender my Credit card payment and she however did email me what I had requested from Marty, which was a course cost with applied payments and Scholarship amount with outstanding balance. As for the info on references of recent attendees of the class I again was sent a link to the website and a link to enter my credit card info into Google Pay.

When the Google Pay screen appeared RED FLAG

My advice Stay away from this place. They want to steel from you

I appreciate your concern. If i paid good money for a training class only to later find out that my state i live in does not allow me to perform such treatments i would be upset.

VERY often people get misinformation about the regulations in their states so first thing i would like to do is to confirm the details and verify your daughter may not do lasers in your state as mentioned.

We record all phone calls and if for any reason a representative informed your daughter that she may fire a laser in a state that she could not do so we obviously will make things right.

Please be so kind to email the owner directly at louis@nlionline.com so he can look into this.

I apologize this is first time i have seen this posting and i want to make things right or clarify the situation as hopefully your daughter can, in fact, do laser in your state and maybe just received inaccurate information. I apologize for your frustration and totally can sympathize and want to take care of you.

Hello. I lI've in dallas texas and was looking into this school and I found your review.

I was wondering what you meant when you said mart told you that you could practice anywhere without a license?

Is that here in texas or another state? Also if that were the case what would be the reason for getting your laser certification?

Thanks for your time I would just like as much info before I invest a lot of money into this program.

Seriously! Unless u can afford your own lasers from the sales guys that give their pitch each week then u must be a nurse or Esthetician & still.

U can get this training & hired just as easily without these so called credits . Believe me I know . I went there jan. had to go for Esthetician lic.

Graduates too I'm my class. My friend got a Job at med spa & was trained for free. Most dr only do this in nc.

Although I had 100 on transcripts this in no way was worth it.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

My account with this company was paid in full each time I went for treatment. Treatment was mediocre at best.

Now, 1 and 1/2 years later they say I still owe $100. Which is not true, as I had to pay for each treatment the day of the treatment. The treatments I received were in February and March of 2014. Today is October of 2016 and I now being told I still owe money.

Do not trust this company.

When I talked to the lady at the business desk she told me not worry about it she would take care of it. 15 minutes later a different later in the business department says that I owe them $100 and have to pay it.

I am so glad I found National Laser Institute!! The education & instructors were superb!! Everyone has a different teaching style and something to learn from each instructor.

I got a job at a medical spa, they were so impressed with my training that they sought out to hire another graduate from this school as the office expanded.
